Klene approached us to set up a sampling campaign for their Candy Drop among the target group of men and women from 25 to 45. The objective was to generate awareness and trial. Important was the moment of use, namely at home, in the evening after dinner.
As for all of our clients, we gave Klene a wide choice of sampling locations that met the target group, time of use and matched the product and brand value. Klene ultimately chose to partner with some local takeout restaurants and the Dutch branches of Johnny's Burger.
Free promotion
Because this was a full size package, and therefore a valuable present, we were able to make arrangements with Johnny's Burger that they would use their communication tools to promote this sampling campaign. A banner appeared on the website, posts on Instagram and facebook, and Johnny's Burger's newsletter was also deployed.
We also did research for Klene at no cost. This provided them with interesting insights on product appreciation and purchase intention.
