"Can you set up a short sampling campaign for us in a few weeks?" was Peijenburg's question when they approached us. This involved only 6,000 samples of their Lower Cal gingerbread, but with a limited expiration date.
We immediately went to work for Peijnenburg and came up with a playful sampling channel: tanning salons. It's a place where a lot of women who value low calorie nutrition go. But also a place where consumers can take a moment to enjoy the product.
In just 10 days after the first phone call from Peijnenburg, the samples were already at 9 different tanning studios and guests were happily surprised with a low calorie slice of gingerbread.
