Sampling that consumers are waiting for

For Maggi, Lime Factory created two sampling campaigns. The first campaign involved a promotion for the spice mix 'Mals & Spicy' that we carried out at various butchers. The second action involved Maggi's stir-fry noodles. The "Thai Green Noodles" contain both noodles and a spice mix.

Approach and Results

For both sampling campaigns, we looked for places where we could find consumers for whom the product was relevant. For example, we sampled the Thai Green Noodles from various vegetable vendors, and we sampled the spice mix (which is specially designed for chicken and fish dishes) from butchers and fish specialty stores. All retailers participated in the campaign with great enthusiasm, and consumers also enjoyed receiving something extra.
