Approach and Results
In order for consumers to be able to enjoy a cool can of Lipton Green Ice Tea right away (and in peace and quiet), we decided to partner with Van der Valk hotels in the Netherlands.
In each minibar of the hotel rooms, hotel employees placed a can of ice tea. To draw hotel guests' attention to the drink, a table map was placed on the table. They also found there a flyer containing a discount coupon and an invitation to participate in a contest.
The campaign was highly appreciated by hotel guests. The timing (in the hot summer) was particularly good.
