Cornet is a Belgian specialty beer and part of Royal Swinklers. In recent years, Cornet has won several World Beer Awards. So it's high time more consumers were introduced to the low-alcohol version of this highly flavorful specialty beer. Cornet therefore asked us to organize a short sampling campaign at supermarkets, with the added challenge of handing out 120,000 samples in just five days.
We only had a very short preparation time for this sampling campaign, but thanks to our good network we managed to quickly find 42 geographically dispersed supermarkets willing to participate in this sampling campaign. In addition to the sample, we also gave consumers a leaflet asking them to participate in a short survey.
The results of the study showed that Cornet is an award-winning beer for a reason. A whopping 72% of respondents found Cornet Low Alcohol to be outstanding. We also reached 70% new consumers who had never heard of Cornet with our sampling campaign. And finally, repeat purchase intent was also found to be very high.
