At Lime Factory, we are aware of the impact our activities can have on our environment. This is why we have designed our business processes to be as sustainable as possible. These are the measures we take:
Environmentally conscious sampling
Our sampling activities are aimed at avoiding litter. We do this by letting consumers experience a product at home or on the way home whenever possible. Any paper flyers we hand out with the sample are produced from FSC-labeled recycled paper; unless our client explicitly requests otherwise.
Furthermore, we try to plan our logistics processes as efficiently as possible so that, for example, unnecessary miles are not driven to get products and materials to their destination. When choosing suppliers, we consider their impact on the environment and we try to reuse materials whenever possible.
Cooperation with social workshop
We use the services of Patijnenburg in the Netherlands and Mivas in Belgium for the packaging of all our sampling projects and the Monsterbox (our box that allows consumers to become acquainted with new products). Both Patijnenburg and Mivas are learning and development companies where people with a distance to the labor market are guided to useful work. Varied work is necessary for their development. With the Monsterbox, Lime Factory does this at least four times a year. Employees of Mivas and Patijnenburg experience their work for the Monsterbox as challenging and varied.
Safe working environment
As a small organization, we pride ourselves on having a diverse workforce with employees of different backgrounds, nationalities and ages. All of our employees can count on a safe working environment. We encourage them to develop themselves with the goal of getting the best out of themselves and, as a consequence, being able to provide the best service to our customers.
