Giveaway to celebrate 60 years in the Netherlands and Belgium

Festive activation increases loyalty and rewards SUN users

SUN is celebrating an impressive milestone: the brand has been around for no less than 60 years. To celebrate this anniversary together with consumers, SUN wanted to do something special. Lime Factory was asked to set up and fully facilitate a large-scale competition in both the Netherlands and Belgium. The goal was not only to celebrate the 60th anniversary, but also to encourage consumers to purchase SUN products by giving them the chance to win an exclusive prize.

Approach and results

To celebrate this anniversary, we devised an activation campaign in which consumers had the chance to win a unique &Klevering x Sun Servies Set, consisting of four dessert plates and two glasses, every month. The threshold for participation was simple but effective: when purchasing two SUN products, consumers could upload their receipt via the special campaign website to compete for the prizes.

Lime Factory took care of the entire execution of this campaign:

  • Design & Development: We took care of both the design and technical development of the multilingual campaign page.

  • Legal & Privacy: We drew up the terms and conditions for the promotion and ensured that the entire campaign fully complied with strict privacy legislation (GDPR) in both the Netherlands and Belgium.

  • Fulfilment: We were responsible for the entire prize process. This included the monthly draws, contacting the winners to obtain their address details, and carefully packing and shipping the dinnerware sets.

Thanks to the combination of a sought-after premium gift and a user-friendly promotional website, we can look back on a successful anniversary campaign that gave engagement with the SUN brand a festive boost.
